Crate for shipping myself in
Created as proposal for inclusion in Document V, Temporary Art Review's 5-year anniversary exhibition in St. Louis, MO. Multiply referencing Velvet Underground's 1968 track "The Gift" and a scene in the mass market George of the Jungle (1997) in which the protagonist ships himself UPS via freight, the project presented a latent possibility of the artist's presence within the crate as it shipped from Baltimore, MD and ultimately was unpacked in St. Louis, MO.
